Welcome to the Maine Coast Marathon, Half Marathon, & 5K race headquarters. We're excited to welcome you to Wells, Maine for an unforgettable weekend of running, community, and coastal scenery. Below you'll find everything you need to prepare for race weekend. Take a few minutes to review the information so you arrive confident, prepared, and ready to race.

NOTE:
Bib pickup will not be available on race day for the 5K, Half, or Full Marathon. You must pick up your bib at one of the pre-race expos.
Packet Mailing
Save time on packet pick-up by adding on packet mailing at registration! Already registered? Don’t worry! You can add it on through your EnMotive account by following these instructions.
The deadline to add packet mailing to your registration is April 9, 2027 at 11:59 PM CST. Please note, we are unable to mail out packets after the packet mailing deadline has passed.
Saturday Parking
On Saturday, starting at 4:45 AM, participants must park in the lot they selected during the registration process.
Participants have until Wednesday, April 28th, 2027, to update their desired parking location. Parking selection is available on a first come first serve basis.
Once parked, all participants will use the nearby shuttle starting at 5:00 AM to the half marathon start line. Participants must arrive early and are strongly encouraged to carpool to ensure a smooth and efficient race morning! The last half marathon shuttle will depart for the start at 6:15 AM. In order to board a pre-start shuttle an official race bib MUST be shown to one of the shuttle bus attendants. If you do not have your official race bib readily visible, you will not be allowed to board the shuttle bus to the start line!
After the race, all participants and spectators will have the option to ride a shuttle bus from the finish location back to the shuttle bus pickup location until 12:30 PM.
Pre-race shuttles to the start line are for runners only. Spectators may not board a shuttle bus to the start line, and they may not park at the start line or any of the nearby roads.
It is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to carpool, as parking is limited, and to arrive early to allow for time to park your vehicles, walk to the shuttle, and board the shuttle bus. There is NO runner drop off on Mile Rd or near the start line! All runners MUST take the shuttle to the start line.
If you must be dropped off, Wells Elementary School (276 Sanford Rd, Wells, ME 04090) will be the designated runner drop off zone. Those getting dropped off will be expected to exit the vehicle quickly to ensure smooth traffic flow. Runners who chose to get dropped off will utilize the shuttle bus from Wells Junior High School. There will be an approximate 10-minute walk from the designated runner drop off area to the shuttle bus loading location. Please plan your morning accordingly!

Several of the surrounding parking lots will have a short walk to the shuttle bus stop. Please plan your arrival accordingly to factor in a short walk to the shuttle bus. Gear Check
Gear check bags will be handed out during packet pick-up. Gear check will be available at the start line of each race and will be transferred to the finish line prior to the race start by an official event vehicle.
Start line gear check will close promptly at the following times:
- Half Marathon: 6:45 AM
- Marathon: 7:15 AM
- 5K: 7:45 AM

Elite Runners
Fast deserves first-class treatment. If you’ve posted an exceptional marathon or half marathon finish time within the past two years, you may qualify for our Elite Runner Program, designed to give top competitors the race-day experience they’ve earned.
Elite runners enjoy access to a dedicated Elite Runner Corral at the very front of the start line, ensuring a clean, unobstructed launch and the best possible conditions to chase a PR. Even better—qualified athletes receive a complimentary entry to this year’s race as our way of recognizing your hard-earned performance.

Standards for both the marathon and half marathon must have been run within 18 months of the race to qualify. Athletes applying for elite complimentary entry will not be included in the Age Group results or awards. They will be categorized in the overall Elite results only.
Applications must be submitted no later than 30 days prior to the event. Late entries will not be accommodated. An elite complimentary entry is non-transferable and only applies to the Half Marathon and Marathon distances. Other distances do not qualify.

Overall Awards
Overall awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in the Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K. Winners will be announced at the Post Race Party at the DJ Stage and will receive an exclusive award onsite. Overall winners will also receive the below prize pack:
Half Marathon & Marathon Overall:
- 1st Place - $500 + Exclusive award onsite + free entry into next year’s event
- 2nd Place - $250 + Exclusive award onsite + 75% off entry into next year’s event
- 3rd Place - $125 + Exclusive award onsite + 50% off entry into next year’s event
5K Overall:
- 1st Place - $250 + Exclusive award onsite + free entry into next year’s event
- 2nd Place - $150 + Exclusive award onsite + 75% off entry into next year’s event
- 3rd Place - $100 + Exclusive award onsite + 50% off entry into next year’s event
Age Group Awards
Age group awards will be given to the top three male and female winners in the following age groups for the 5K, Half Marathon and Marathon: 19 & Under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80+ (The 5K will also have its own division of 9 and under). Age group awards will be mailed out 4-6 weeks after the event.

- 2nd Place - Exclusive award + 75% off entry into next year’s event
- 3rd Place - Exclusive award + 50% off entry into next year’s event
Wheelchair Division
